10-Day Vignette

The 10-day vignette is designed for short-term visitors and transit travellers. It is valid for exactly ten consecutive calendar days from the selected start date and is available in both physical sticker and digital e-vignette formats. This option is particularly popular among tourists from neighbouring countries who are passing through Austria or spending a brief holiday.

VehiclePriceValidity
Car / Van (<3.5t)€ 9.9010 consecutive days
Motorcycle€ 5.8010 consecutive days

2-Month Vignette

The 2-month vignette covers approximately 60 days and suits travellers who spend extended periods in Austria or make multiple visits within a two-month window. It represents a middle ground between the short-term and annual options and is available in both physical and digital formats.

VehiclePriceValidity
Car / Van (<3.5t)€ 29.00~60 days
Motorcycle€ 14.50~60 days

Annual Vignette

The annual vignette is valid for 365 days and is the standard choice for Austrian residents and frequent travellers. It offers the best per-day value and eliminates the need to purchase a new vignette before each trip. The annual vignette for the upcoming year typically goes on sale in November or December.

VehiclePriceValidity
Car / Van (<3.5t)€ 103.80365 days
Motorcycle€ 37.90365 days

Digital e-Vignette

The e-vignette is registered in the ASFINAG database against the vehicle's licence plate. No physical sticker is required. Enforcement is fully automated through licence-plate recognition cameras. The e-vignette can be purchased up to 30 days in advance of the start date and is available for all validity periods at the same price as the physical sticker.

"The e-vignette is linked to the specific licence plate provided at purchase. Always double-check the plate number before confirming your order."

Motorcycles

Motorcycles are subject to the same vignette obligation as passenger cars but at lower prices. The physical sticker must be affixed to a clearly visible, non-removable part of the motorcycle. The digital e-vignette is also available for motorcycles.
